LE16 runs up for second innings

PR and marketing company LE16 Communications is marking its second season of sponsorship for a local youth cricket team with a load of balls!

The company, based in Cottingham near Market Harborough, has paid for the purchase of new cricket balls for the Under-15s team at East Carlton Cricket Club in a deal which builds on the company’s sponsorship of the team’s shirts at the start of the last season.
LE16 Director Jane Smith said: “It’s great to be associated with the team for another year. Cricket is all about keeping your eye on the ball and that certainly applies to our line of business, so we thought that this particular donation was more than appropriate!”

East Carlton’s Under-15s team is currently joint top of the Corby & District Wilson Browne Youth Cricket League and is celebrating its success after winning the recent
Desborough 6-a-side tournament in a nail-biting final that went right to the last ball.

Roger Smith, East Carlton Cricket Club Under-15s Manager, added: “The purchase of equipment is crucial to the running of the team. We’re extremely grateful to companies like LE16 who give us the financial support we need to get young people of all ages involved in cricket.”

Established in 2003, LE16 Communications is a regional PR and marketing agency with national experience. The company’s two directors, Jane Smith and Pete Bowman, have a combined track record of over 35 years in the financial, retail, business-to-business, travel and public sectors.
